Project Description

Professional Surgery

Whether it is a routine surgery or a specialty one, we provide a full range of surgeries for our patients, from the most basic, to some extremes, which include a full minor and main surgery room and of course specialists and certified surgeon doctors to perform any kind of operation such as spays and neuters or minor soft tissue surgeries, or orthopedic surgeries when necessary.

Our patients are closely monitored before, during and after surgery which provides the benefits of less pain, less chance of infection and faster recovery.

Cranial Cruciate Ligament (CrCL) Rupture – A Common Yet Serious Cause of Lameness in Dogs

CrCL rupture is one of the most common orthopedic injuries in dogs, leading to joint instability, chronic pain, and progressive lameness if left untreated.

In this case:

  • The dog displays the characteristic “sitting test” posture, with the affected hind leg extended outward — a sign of discomfort and inability to flex the knee due to instability
  • Weight is shifted onto the opposite, healthy hind limb, avoiding pressure on the painful leg

⚠️ These are classic signs of chronic joint pain or instability and require veterinary examination and imaging for proper diagnosis.

At THE MP VETERINARY HOSPITAL, we provide expert care and treatment plans tailored to restore mobility and comfort.
